Three most asked questions of The Car Broker team for this month

Why are people using The Car Broker?

By helping people save money on their car purchases, which helps them by reducing their outlay, we help manufacturers and dealers achieve their ever increasing sales targets without the high cost of advertising and increased staff levels. Our customers receive the highest level of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) we can offer. Our quick and easy communication system is always improving, so customers are always happy to recommend our service to their family and friends whenever they hear of anyone in the market for a car. This positive feedback is vital for the continuing success of our business.

Can I sell my trade in myself?

Yes! You can secure the trade in offer of your old car with the lowest price dealer and have this special condition on the sale agreement: “I wish to reserve the right to remove my trade in from this sale prior to delivery of my new vehicle”. So you still have the right to sell your trade in privately. This is a proven best way for you to be assured you are getting the absolute highest price for your old car.

Can I have my new car serviced at my local dealer?

Yes, you can service your car at any dealership of your choice - regardless of where the car was supplied from. This applies right from the first service. Dealership service departments are always very happy to gain a new service customer.

A tip for happy motoring

There’s nothing like a road trip for creating great memories, whether it’s with the family or a group of friends. But before you hit the open road, it’s important to ensure your car is in the right shape. Some problems are unavoidable, but a lot can be prevented.

Here’s a checklist:

Tyre Pressure - make sure there is enough air in the tyres. Check the owner's manual to see how much pressure your tyres should have.

Oil - check the oil level and add oil if needed.

Transmission fluid - check the transmission fluid levels and add more if needed.

Other fluids - check the brake fluid, washer fluid, and power-steering fluid levels as well.

Seat belts - check seat belts to make sure they lock correctly and are not worn out.

Lights - make sure all lights on your car work, including indicators and high beams.

Wipers - make sure your wiper blades are in good condition. If they are old, consider replacing them before you leave.

Battery - check the battery terminal for corrosion.

Spare tyre - make sure your spare tyre is ready to be used if needed. Make sure you have a jack to use if you have a flat.

Your car is in good shape for your trip if you have checked all of these items. And if you’re in any doubt, take it to your local dealer for a full safety check.

Kind regards and happy motoring
